The Role

As a Load Unit Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting various load units such as containers and trailers. You will ensure that equipment remains safe, reliable, and fully operational for transport and logistics activities. Working closely with a technical team, you will make a direct contribution to the continuity of transport operations.

Responsibilities

Identify and resolve technical faults and damage
Carry out inspections and safety checks
Perform welding, mechanical repairs, and general maintenance work
Record completed work in company systems
Collaborate with fellow mechanics and the planning department
Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment

What Are They Looking For?

MBO-level education or equivalent in automotive engineering, metalworking, or a related field
Experience with containers, trailers, or intermodal units is an advantage
Good command of the English language
