The Role

As a Chassis Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on chassis and related systems. You will inspect, repair, and maintain various components to ensure vehicles can operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with legal requirements. You will work closely with colleagues within the technical department and contribute to an efficient and safe workshop environment.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections on chassis and frame structures.
Carry out welding work and structural repairs.
Repair and maintain braking systems, lighting systems, and air systems.
Replace wear-prone components.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and other technical inspections.
Maintain maintenance records and work reports.
Follow safety regulations and technical procedures.

Experience with chassis, trailers, or heavy equipment is an advantage.
